Scalp Direct features a patented bristle system that dispenses liquid only when the bristle tips make contact with your scalp, just like a ballpoint pen. As you glide the brush across your scalp, the movement and light pressure activate the release mechanism, delivering product precisely where it’s needed, without dripping or making a mess.

Scalp Direct is compatible with most low viscosity liquids, including hair growth treatments, serums, oils, and tonics. Avoid thick or creamy substances, as they can clog the bristles and block the flow.

The SD-100 has a capacity of 60 ML (+/- 2 ounces) and we recommend at least 20 ML (+/- .75 ounces) for best performance.

Scalp Direct can be easily disassembled and cleaned. We recommend washing the bristle membrane with warm water and mild soap regularly to keep it performing at its best. Avoid using harsh chemicals or boiling water.

When storing at home with liquid inside, always store the brush with the cover on and bristles facing upward. When traveling, always transport it empty and with the bristle cover in place to avoid leaks and protect the bristles.

Each bristle functions like a tiny ballpoint pen, when the bristle tip touches your scalp with light pressure, the liquid is released. Avoid applying excessive pressure during use, gentle contact is all that’s needed for optimal liquid release. Pressing too hard may cause discomfort or skin irritation, which is unnecessary for the product to work effectivel

Our brush is designed for low-viscosity liquids.  Water, has the least viscosity among common liquids used in Scalp Direct brush and therefore may drip / flow faster than oil based treatments.   

The action of brushing your scalp points the bristles downward and starts liquid flow. There may be cases when you end your session and place the brush, bristles upward for storage that cause remnant liquid to collect at the base of the bristles.  This is normal and there is no reason for concern. This is due to remnant liquid from brushing remaining on and around the bristle and gravity is doing its thing.  Just rinse or dab dry with a tissue.
